OUR MISSION:
Veterans Hope Charity is dedicated to improving the lives of our veterans in the community by creating an environment of hope and unity. We promise to work tirelessly to improve conditions for our veterans and others in the community and affect positive changes in their lives. We affirm the importance of working together to find solutions. Veterans Hope Charity will not profit from our endeavors. We believe in fairness for all. Veterans Hope Charity will not waiver in the conviction to create a better community for our veterans and also other disadvantaged Seniors, 15% of the U.S. population are seniors, over 40 Million by 2012. It is estimated that 65+ net worth is down 15%; financial assets are down 80%.15% are living in poverty. VETERANS they deserve to go out with pride and dignity, also other disadvantaged seniors.
Veterans Help Veterans has over 16 years of experience in the processing of claims for Veterans, current to past. This planned organization currently has the ability to build the basis to investigate and correct the system of claim recovery for the veterans that have been currently lost in the processing logistics. The claim recover for the veterans will help restore the compensation that was promised to them but will also restore the faith in the America that they served for years.

We are helping the disadvantaged veterans in many different ways, including arranging and paying for Burial/Final Expense for disadvantaged VETERANS ages 63-75. Our heroes deserve to go out with pride and dignity, and also other disadvantaged seniors.
The Events
Veterans Stand Down to Be Held Oct. 6-7, 2011
Veterans in need of housing, employment and food and clothing assistance can attend the Second Annual Veterans Stand Down on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 6-7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. --Stand Down has been featured on CBS’ 60 Minutes 7/10/11
The event is located at Cambridge Community Center, 3900 Cambridge Street near Flamingo Road and Maryland Pkwy.
Any men and women who have served in the United State military and reserves can attend. Pickup locations for veterans in need of transportation are at Catholic Charities and North Clinic. Services being offered include counseling, blankets, backpacks, and winter clothing.
