Item description
The person in this position performs hands-on unit, system and functional testing of a slot/gaming machine. Candidate should possess the ability to contribute to test automation efforts using C/C++ (on Unix/Linux). Work closely with Firmware Engineers and Feature Leads to provide top-notch quality slot game that connects to a variety of Slot Management systems. Must be self-motivated and directed to work with minimal supervision
Duties
• Documents, tracks, and communicates test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems • Develops programs to test, track, and verify defects in software programs • Conducts compatibility tests with hardware, multiple operating systems, and network environments • Monitors program performance after implementation to prevent recurrence of program operating problems and ensures efficient of operation • Trains and supports users • Reviews and contributes to software program, test and release documentation
Training AND/OR Experience:
• Experience with test automation, concepts, and tools • Strong attention to detail • Demonstrated expertise in test planning, test design, and test execution • Casino/Gaming experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
• Complete knowledge of Microsoft Office programs • Knowledge of inspection methods in the design, fabrications, and production of electronic equipment • Highly adept with testing techniques and methods • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
